Sgt/Detention Officer Brian Greenwood served in the Royal Air Force for 22 years and Wiltshire constabulary for 23 years with distinction, embodying the values of courage, integrity, and excellence. His dedication to his service was evident in everything he did, from his meticulous attention to detail to his willingness to go above and beyond. He was a source of strength and inspiration to his comrades, family and friends, always leading by example and showing what it meant to truly serve for your country.
Beyond his work achievements, my Dad was a man of great kindness, generosity, and warmth. His sense of humour and guidance were a constant source of comfort to our family and friends.
We will forever cherish the memories we have of our Dad, the stories he shared, the lessons he taught, and the love he gave so freely. His legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew him, and his spirit will continue to guide us.
Now he is with his wife, our Mum, June and both will be forever in our thoughts.

I am I and you are you, whatever we were to each other that we still are.
Speak to me in the easy way which you always used.
Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight?
Life means all that it ever meant, it is the same as it ever was.
